
On February 27, LME nickel price closed at 14,445 dollars per tonne, up 219 dollars per tonne or 1.54 percent over the prior trading day. At the same time, China's nickel price was still stable; Jinchuan Group maintained its ex-works price unchanged; electrolytic nickel price of Bohai Commodity Exchange nudged down by 0.64 percent. On February 28, Jinchuan Group hiked ex-works price by 500 yuan per tonne. Meanwhile, nickel price of Bohai Commodity Exchange inched up by 0.80 percent. On May 13, LME nickel price closed at 20,890 dollars per tonne, down 289 dollars per tonne or 1.36 percent. On May 14, both Jinchuan Group and Bohai Commodity Exchange followed the trend and cut the prices. In view of this, LME nickel guided and leaded the significant vibration of nickel price.
